Product certification

All manufacturers of office furniture can request application documents for certification. The foundation for a certification is the applicant’s disclosure of information, which is examined by the "Qualitätsforum Büroeinrichtungen" (quality forum office furniture). A successful certification allows the applicant to use the QUALITY OFFICE label for communicating the certified products.

The certification is based on the accompanying statutes for certification according to QUALITY OFFICE. You can find the prices for certification and further information about the certification process here.


The following documents need to be send alongside the application for certification:

  • Application form
  • Disclosure of information
  • Copy of at least one GS seal that is valid for at least one year
  • Product information (e.g. brochures or price lists)

The "Qualitätsforum" examines the submitted documents and informs the applicant, whether and to which degree an examination on-site might be necessary. The examination takes place in consultation with the applicant.

After a positive outcome of the examination the applicant receives the certification mark, which documents the compliance with the requirements of Guideline for Quality Criteria for Office Workplaces. The certified products will be listed on our website www.quality-office.org in the section "Certified Products".
