
Certification Process for QUALITY OFFICE Products
The following office furniture can be certified:
Certifiable product categories
- Office chairs
- Visitors’ and meeting chairs
- Conference chairs
- Office desks
- Visitors', meeting and conference desks
- Office containers
- Office cabinets
- Partitions
Requirements for QUALITY OFFICE products:
All products need to comply with the requirements of the Guideline for Quality Criteria for Office Workplaces "L-Q 2010" regarding safety, ergonomics, functionality, flexibility, durability and sustainability.
Moreover the demands for the accompanying service as defined in the guideline "L-Q 2010" need to be fulfilled.
Certification Process:
- The applicant has to disclose information and hand in additional documents.
- The documents and random product samples are checked
- Debriefing or written feedback
- The certified products are listed on www.quality-office-org.
The certification is conducted by the "Qualitätsforum Büroeinrichtungen" (quality forum office furniture).

Costs of certification:
Package rate for 6 Product categories*: 1.500 €.
Additional certification: 433 € / Product category.
If e.g. on-site checks are necessary and further costs might arise the applicant will be informed beforehand.
All prices are plus VAT.
The certification costs include a free communication package.
* The certification of Die Zertifizierung der electrification / Technical-integration is part of the corresponding product category.
Duration:
3 years
Subsequent extension is possible in a simplified process.
Requirements for certification:
Certification requests can be made by manufacturers of products.
Certification language is German. An expansion to certification in the English language is beeing prepared.
