The foundation: Guideline L-Q 2010
The foundation of the Quality Office certification is the Guideline "Quality Criteria for Office Workplaces L-Q 2010". It defines the requirements for modern office workplaces, capable consultants and experienced dealers.
The guideline consists of two parts. The first part is comprised of the "Requirements for products". The basis for all product certifications is the GS mark (Tested Safety). It indicates the compliance of the furniture product with the German product safety legislation (Produktsicherheitsgesetz zum Schutz von Sicherheit und Gesundheit), which is based on European directives. Additionally, Quality Office guarantees further product features in the fields of safety, ergonomics, functionality, flexibility, durability and sustainability. The first part also includes measurements for all kinds of office chairs and desks.
The second part of the guideline defines the requirement for services of dealers, planners and consultants. The certification of these companies and experts follows the criteria accordingly.
